It's the damn power supply again.... 

It's too hot up there and the electrolytic capacitors dry out.

I've repaired the power supplies like 3-4 times the last couple of years.

But every time I have to put in crappy capacitors because the board was not designed with enough room for quality capacitors like panasonic and nichicons (they tend to be quite larger in size).

Anyway I already have bought a new open frame power supply (mening that its not sealed in an enclosure) but I haven't installed it yet because I was thinking that maybe it would be better to move the whole thing somewhere cooler.

But I guess that's not an option right now. I'll try to do it tomorrow or, maybe in the night.

Up and running... let me know if it's stable. 

The new power supply is this one, in case anyone is curious.

It powers this poe injector which in turn powers the rest (router & antenae).

It also charges a 7Ah sla battery that is used for backup (ups feature).

The ubnt stock power supplies are no good if (roomtemp > 45) return false;

My roof is made of metal sheets with no insulation and the sun makes them super hot.

I have a box of 4 ubnt dead psus and 3 generic ones. They all have served hwmn exclusively, but no more than one year each.
