It seems like whitey is not in a communicating mood. Does anyone have

Hello, I will be at CSD building until 18.00 today, in case someone wants to fix the issue (else we can arrange another time). I also tried to enter at tolabaki but the wifi connection was stuck at "Obtaining IP address...". I don't know if it is related. So someone who has key for the door should come.

Yes, when the router is stuck you can't use the doorlock to open the
door. You need a key to enter and then just unplug-replug the router.

It's unfortunate that access is so difficult.

Also, I think this post would have been more appropriate in saloni.

I'm at work right now. I can however obtain a key and drop by the CSD building to have a look at what's going on before 18:00.

Once more, hello.

I powercycled whitey and it magically started working. I propose we set up whitey to send its logs to some other box. Idea at toLABaki was left open a month or two ago but it does not seem to be working right now.

Also, whitey is running Barrier Breaker still, even though Chaos Calmer, (as well as LEDE 17.01.2) are out. There are no sysupgrade images for Chaos Calmer but interestingly there are for LEDE. It may be desirable to upgrade whitey since it may solve the problems (however the opposite is equally possible).

Lastly we could also consider replacing whitey if we find it’s a hardware fault (I think access to the logs will help us assess whether it actually is one).

I will leave whitey as is, try upgrading my own RB750GL to LEDE using the sysupgrade image and post any findings.
