Description: One of SGAs Premier Investment Management firms located in Stamford, CT is seeking a full time QA Engineer for a role on their team. Will be working in a Windows Environment with SQL Server on the backend. Scripting is not necessary for this role, but experience using QA automation tools such as Quick Test pro is a positive. The various applications vary in their use of technology. We have apps built in all of the following: WPF, Java, C#, .NET, Silverlight to name a few. The ideal candidates are in the 3-5 years range, with financial services experience working at a broker dealer, sell side or equities trading.
Aggressive and ambitious individual willing to question coding errors and pursue resolutions that meet business requirements Ability to multi-task and juggle several different projects simultaneously Strong spreadsheet, MS SQL and Windows environment knowledge
