My laptop, however, has Windows 10 and it does not work. Anaconda installed after one hour and the navigator does not appear. I don't know if it's the whole of Windows 10 or just my machine, but it seems to me that the navigator should be here somewhere. The problem lies in that the 'Start' option for Windows 10 does not allow a user to ACTUALLY search for files ON their computer (total bummer since it makes everything difficult), so only the anaconda prompt and some "web searches" appear. Completely useless whatsoever.

I did try using the anaconda prompt with the help of a previously posted question (Anaconda Installed but Cannot Launch Navigator) with an identical problem to mine, where some of you mentioned that I should try the command 'anaconda-navigator', 'anaconda-navigator as', 'anaconda navigator', amongst other commands. None of which worked in any possible way. The commands were ignored since they just invoked errors that I do not know of.

In that directory there should be a Scripts folder containing the anaconda-navigator application. Hit it and wait patiently while it spins up. Navigator should open. You can point shortcuts here and so on.

Background: I'm running Windows 10 Pro x64. At one point I had an installation of Anaconda in C:\ProgramData\Anaconda3; I just uninstalled it using only uninstall-anaconda3.exe, which I later found out was dumb. I have reinstalled Anaconda to C:\Users\me\Anaconda3. None of my environment variables has or has ever had anything python-related or Anaconda-related in it. But I think I have some leftover things from that installation.

Oct. 2021 update: I am at my wit's end over this. Still Windows 10, official GNU emacs 27.2. Anaconda installed in c:\users\[username]\Anaconda3. No venv's, I just use the base conda environment. Please please tell me what exactly to type in my .emacs file, so that "M-x run-python" starts the anaconda python, properly activates so "import numpy" works. Please! I've flailed around w/ pyvenv.el, conda.el, I give up.

I can find no message in the logs giving a hint of what path it is looking for. I removed and re-installed anaconda, and tried both user and system installation. I also freshly installed KNIME 4.3.2. What is the process for installing?

I followed many instructions that have been posted (to install Pymc3 on windows) on different web pages, but they did not work. When I asked my questions about the warnings and errors, I was referred to this article.

No, I'm not trying to run as admin.... while running in a Windows Terminal by default it's running in admin mode
I tried to change the path also, but every time in windows terminal, the anaconda prompt opening as administrator mode.
Anyways it won't make any difference if I run as administrator mode, so no probs

I changed the guide by adding one with the last digit of cmd's guide and the rest of the things will be similar.

I truly would love to be able to utilize Anaconda. I particularly want to be able to import many packages including h5py for reading HDF files, which are larger than 2GB. Because of the C library dependencies of h5py, it is impossible to build them in Windows from source. Could the community help me find a practical way of using Anaconda3-4.0.0-Windows-x86_64 in blender-2.77a-windows64? I don't mind completely replacing Blender python with Anaconda (although I copied them in blender folder and did not work).
