Pneumonia is a disease that damages the lungs and affects millions of people every year, but it's treatable! To raise awareness about this topic, World Pneumonia Day is celebrated on November 12, and this multi-purpose template is our two cents. Round Pneumonias are found typically in thechild. Most often the organism is pneumococcus. The pneumonia appears round becauseof poorly developed collateral pathways (pores of Kohn and channels of Lambert). Over time though initially round, it develops into a more consolidativepattern.

With walking pneumonia, you may feel like you have a cold. But symptoms are usually mild, so you likely won't need bed rest or a hospital stay. You may not feel the need to stay home from work or school. So you may be out walking around. That's how the illness got its name.
