Don't hesitate to use a debug tool for your browser when working with KRPano, as a general advice. Then you can directly try your code and get the issue. If you do so, you would see that "$('#krpanoSWKObject').get()" is set while "$('#krpanoSWKObject')[0].get()" is not. :)

Everything works fine if I access the krpano files online from my server, but I cannot make it work when I include the files as app resources and try to access them locally. The errors I find are the following:

I have also to notice that I contacted Klaus, and he told me that the next version of krpano will do the stereo panos and tours automatically (no need to edit the xml file), so that these instructions will be obsolete with this new version. But in the meantime, you can perfectly do the stereo panos with the actual version and this tutorial.

Hi there! New to krpano... I am currently on this final step. I can see the virtual tours as html files on my computer but am quite clueless as to how I can share them with others. I tried storing them on a server but am unable to load .html files. Any help with this is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I want to use just one xml file, the main xml file that the main tour uses, the one that is created by the Create Tour droplet and similar to the examples such as "demotour-corfu" in the main krpano dwnload.

otherwise rigging something up yourself to attach a panorama and whatever other data you like to a specific post should not be to tough, basically wordpress would be your database & krpano & other data would be stored within wordpress custom fields

Even though I'll take your advice for a future, do you have any example of real state krpano aplication in WP, by now I haven't seen that and it sounds really good, if you could give me some example I'll appreciate it very much. Thanx!

One would be generating an xml with php (or serverside language of your choice) and let krpano include that. This is the fastest way for krpano to parse content. Downside is, you will run into caching, krpano will load an old xml from its cache instead of the latest from the database, there are hacks though to prevent this (time/version stamping it for example). This would just a simple mysql query

i'm new in krpanoI'm looking for adding a map (OpenStreetMap) in the Virtual tour of krpano, OpenLayers or Leaflet, that should be interactive with panoramic viewer, so every panoramic image has representative point in the map, every changing in viewer 360 change in the map, and every changing in the map change the viewer. a good example of my specifications is : i have a code to start with (if you want) that have only the radar.

Is there a Beginner's guide to krpano that someone can point me to? I've downloaded the files and don't know where to start. I've looked at a lot of information but I haven't see how to proceed with the work flow.

so my question is Can I do all this from autopao tour (I prefer its GUI)
Do I need both of them or krtools is a different product, infact I am too confused as to what is the main product here to consider
is it
krpanoviewer
krflashpanorama viewer
krtools with multiple subtools & plugins

My email is philip at warner dot net and we could also talk using Skype (philwarner). I'm hoping to have some good aerial 360s with the rc helicopter in another month. This week I'm trying to get the krpano basics down where I can rebuild what I created with pano2vr and then take it a few steps further.

I am very much a newbie to krpano and have spent half a day searching the forum and cannot figure out how to use the trace() to display INFO about krpano variables in real time. I see the trace() everywhere but when i add it to an xml it doesn't show up. For example I added the follow snippet from one of the threads about action variables. I was thinking this would show the output in a window somewhere. Does nothing when added to XML .
I'm trying to learn by watching what is going on but the examples I have found so far are not above me.
I could use some help

I was reading other forum articles and see that they reference examples that came with krpano. Where are these examples? There were no examples in any of my files. If there were, trust me I'd have already probably figured this out.

Please, Has somebody tried with a project that contains videos? Videos file could not be loaded with this NWJS solution but it works fine with krpano testing server or uploaded in webpage.

Hi there,
I have another problem with fullscreen. When pano is in fullscreen and I call action wait(1000); If I exit fullscreen by pressing key ESC, the action exitfs(); in krpano event onexitfullscreen isn't called. Function exitfs is called later, when I click somewhere - called by oninterrupt event.
I think the event oninterrupt(exitfs()) should be called when I press ESC. Is it possible or is there any hack?

To work with this editor, you need at least a basic knowledge of krpano. Initially, I wanted to implement visual control over changing parameters (ath, atv, scale, alpha, ox, oy...). In the process, the editor was supplemented with buttons for changing almost all the main attributes of the hotspot, as well as action attributes (you can enter them in the browser window). Added a panel for editing text hotspots, which added the ability to work with the color of the background, border, shadows, text. You can change the html and css attributes by observing the process. What came out of it - find out by clicking on the button below.

Sometimes there is a need to group panoramas, especially when there are severaldozen of them. It can be a list of floors, streets, cafes, entertainment centers, museums and more.Combine panoramas into groups and create a list of these groups.
This is a drop-down list where you can set your icons and enter the name of thegroup.
You can change the size of the icons, set the positioning parameters of the list, change the design of the list(there are several preset options), create your owndesign style. The plugin is easy to install.
No need to edit the code in"krpano". Creation and saving is done in the browserwindow.

The plan of the room or territory is a good complement to the virtual tour. It helpsto navigate in space, especially when on the plan are indicatedby points of the place of panoramas and schematically indicates the direction andangle of view of the currently open panorama.
As part of krpano there is a plug-in "Radar" - this is a cone, the angle of whichvaries depending on the zoom. It rotates with the rotation of the panorama, indicating the direction of the view. The "Radar" plug-in requires settings -setting the rotation angle, assigning a point to the plan.
Points on the plan also need to be arranged in accordance with the places taken. The plugin "edit_floorplan" allows you to easily and quickly cope with this taskwithout writing code, you just need to dot the mouse, rotate the "radar" and save.

Want to focus on certain places in the panorama? Create a list of views. It can be aproduct on the shelf in the store, a picture in the exhibition hall, attraction on gigapixel panorama, etc.Easy connection and simple, intuitively understandable list creation and saving.Does not require coding knowledge in krpano.

1) krpano droplet will do that
2) yes blender or any 3d software. everpano is a simple 3d editor itself
3) depth is just smaller, you could use an obj or stl as well
4) yes
but in reality there are much more details ofc
you would start from an example tour.xml (eg. abu simbel)

The krpano is a small and very flexible high-performance tools and conversion utilities that allow you to export all kinds of panoramic images and interactive virtual tours into a Flash and HTML5 application. The viewer is designed for the usage inside the browser (Windows, Mac, Linux) and on mobile devices and tablets (iPhone, iPad, Android, ...). Making a virtual tour with krpano is possible just by drag-and-drop.
