I have searched and found others saying to turn off autofill and back on for awhile or several times but this did not work. Also uninstalled chrome and 1password and still nothing. I also power cycled the phone.
I can't save anything to Dropbox from Chrome on my iPad or iPhone. Not sure if this is an issue with Chrome or Dropbox, but it's like Dropbox isn't supported or won't link to chrome. Any suggestions or fixes? It works in Safari and the Dropbox app itself works fine, just need to be able to save files from chrome straight to Dropbox and it's driving me nuts!
Seems to be working fine for me. I download a file in Chrome, select OPEN IN..., then Copy to Dropbox. Dropbox then prompts me to choose a folder and once I select Save the file is uploaded.
I took those steps. The issue is that it does not save with the file name or file extension. It creates a new name based on the date and time. If you save the file from safari iOS it uses the correct file name and extension.
Hey @Gerardv514 - this request is about adding a popup interface to the BW browser extension, so advice like using hotkeys is specific to that. And for me, field detection and password autofilling works great on iOS. You just have to make sure you enable Password Autofill for Bitwarden in your iOS settings.
Again, ios iPhone using google chrome browser. Your first try was a different os and different browser. Your second try was right os, but then mobile app of PayPal which was never brought up. Use google chrome browser on the phone go to the PayPal website and test.
The first time I used autofill to paste in my info, I was presented with just the login textbox as you describe, and then I selected the Passwords icon to unlock Bitwarden and fill, after which it flawlessly autofilled the password and took me to the prompt for my PayPal 2FA code, which I was able to paste directly from the clipboard. But if one repeats this process again, this is the screen that is presented in the browser.
In order for me to enter the credentials on this site, when prompted for an email address I need to either 1) manually type it in or 2) open the BW app copy the email and paste it into the field. After the email address is manually typed/pasted in, I click next and then BW detects autofill where I can click the item above the keyboard, and it will autofill the password.
But password fill is handled by iOS, so all that Bitwarden can do is respond to a password autofill request by iOS. If the Password Autofill workflow is not working on Chrome, then I believe that is a Chrome-iOS issue, not a Bitwarden issue.
Ok thank you for this insight. Considering that bitwarden responds to other websites, when a username and password field is presented on the same page, can we assume that the workflow is partially working?
Hi, I'm having issues with scrolling on iOS (web).I have a web app that when you click on different pill shaped menus scrolls to the appropriate/related element on the page. When I click a different pill menu when scrolling is happening I get glitches on iOS browsers (safari/chrome) whereas everything is fine on Chrome Android. The wanted behavior is that when you click on the pill the scrolling goes to the needed item with no glitching or pause.I use jQuery's animate to scroll to the needed element and the scroll listener to detect whether the page is at the right position to illuminate the right pill (make it active).
I rebuilt the page after not being able to resolve through changing z-index (changing position), removing clip to background, etc. After the rebuild, it worked for several days (confirmed on iphone), and just stopped showing. Help please!
I have a user that is getting a failed login because non supported browser. The user is using iPhone iOS 14.6 and chrome browser version "Chrome Mobile iOS 92.0.4515". The user is trying to access exchange online application. When i look at the azure sign-in logs for the request. I see "530001 browser not supported". I can also see from looking at the sign-in logs that MFA was successfully completed. When i click on "Conditional Access" I see a policy that is reporting as "Failure", and its "Grant Controls" that is not being satisfied . The policy is configured as below. I'm a little stumped on why "Grant Controls" is not being satisfied when the device is compliant, and the user is successfully passing mfa
Prior to Chrome 115, debugging webpages required building Chrome for iOS from source, as the release version of WKWebView did not support remote Web Inspector debugging. In Chrome 73, we added the chrome://inspect page which locally displays JavaScript logs to assist in debugging webpages. Now that WKWebView allows Web Inspector debugging in release (as of iOS 16.4), we have added a setting in Chrome 115 to enable this feature and further improve the developer experience.
