As Paul continues his vigilante crusade, he tracks down Miguel and learns the identities of the other two attackers: Knox and Fish. He kills Fish after a violent confrontation at a nightclub, but Knox escapes. Meanwhile, Detective Kevin Raines and Detective Leonore Jackson investigate Paul's activities, suspecting him to be the Grim Reaper.

Paul eventually finds Knox at a gun store and shoots him in the leg, forcing him to reveal the location of their boss, Joe. Paul infiltrates Joe's hideout and kills him and his men in a bloody shootout. He then returns home to find Jordan awake from her coma. He decides to leave Chicago with his family and start a new life.
