Hi all:
Sorry for the lack of advance notice, but a security release for Evergreen & OpenSRF[1] (the software on top of which Evergreen is built) came out yesterday afternoon and I applied it in the early hours of the morning today.
As we had to face some downtime anyway, I also applied the bug fix releases that brought us from roughly 2.10.7 to 2.10.10. I had already applied some of the individual fixes, but this gave me a chance to bring everything to a standard release level.
Some of the newly applied fixes you might be interested in are:
a) Library of Congress spine labels should now have better formatting by default
b) One cause of intermittent search failures has been resolved
c) (Acquisitions) The fund selection list will now be sorted alphabetically in the copies interface.
The Evergreen 2.12 release is shaping up nicely with a focus on completing the web-based staff client. I tentatively plan to apply that major update in June, which should give the official release some time to shake out some of the inevitable bugs.
Thanks,
Dan
