As the Dark King, a Demon Realm warrior has ultimate authority over the entirety of the Demon Realm and its inhabitants. Their appearance also undergoes a drastic change. As the leader of the Demon Realm, they possess life energy referred to as the Dark Factor.
In the form, Mechikabura's hair flows outward into a spikier shape, and he gains golden horns shaped like a crown on his forehead, along with long red marks running down the sides of his face. His outfit changes from his red Kai's garb to a black-and-gray robe and coat with gold adornments and a spiked red cape. Unique to Mechikabura are his two versions of the Dark King form - his base state (which was a Demon God form) and the Time Power Unleashed form, the latter of which turns the red accents of his appearance black (lengthening his horns and even completely covering the sides of his face).
In the form, Fu's transformation does not noticeably affect his hair besides lengthening his front bang but creates red marks on the sides of his face. He dons a caped black-and-purple outfit with gold lining, similar to a formal military uniform. In place of his glasses is a red-and-gold monocle worn over his left eye. When taking the form for the first time in the anime, Fu's cape was covered in bright purple energy (before blasting said energy at Vegito Blue).
Mechikabura was the original Dark King and assumed the transformation after regaining his youth and escaping the Time Labyrinth. As he was sealed away, he released the Dark Factor which went into those nearby. Towa eventually obtained this energy and placed it into Fu, turning him into the new Dark King, while Towa herself enhanced her Demon God form with the Dark Factor's energy.[1]
Demigra transforms slightly after releasing his hidden power, gaining the red markings on his face as well as golden crown that Mechikabura had in his initial Dark King form, as well as large clawed hands.
After Fu transformed into the new Dark King, he gained the ability to summon parts of Mechibura's Time Power Unleashed state including his clawed hands and even a giant avatar made of his chestplate while Fu was being possessed by Mechikabura.
By absorbing space-time energy from the Lucky Time Box, Demigra gained the ability to take on the Time Power Unleashed form on top of his Dark King (Full Power) state. His version of the form also takes on attributes of his Transcended form.
After attempting to absorb the time birds he caught, Tokitoki instead reverted him to a youthful appearance only managing to absorb Dogidogi. In this form Fu's Demon God mark shrinks to a small line below his right eye and one of Dogidogi's wings grew out of his back.
When Fu manages to perfect his new abilities and master Dogidogi's power, his new form turns complete. The evolution form made his Demon God mark grow around his eye and Dogidogi's second wing grow from his back.
Mechikabura appears as the Dark King in Dragon Ball Heroes, introduced in the cutscenes for the Dark King Mechikabura Saga added in Universe Mission 7. He became a playable character in Universe Mission 9. Dark King Fu was added as a playable character in Big Bang Mission 5.
With Ultraman Orb defeated, and his cards stolen, Maga-Orochi rages through the city, destroying everything. With the help of the Princess Tamaruya, Gai gets two new cards he can use, the Zoffy card and the Ultraman Belial card, but will Gai really use the power of the dark card to win?
Jetta and Shin rushes to a barricaded area while silently watching Maga-Orochi sleeping from its rampage. Shin unveils another invention that allows them to scan a monster from safe distance but is shocked to discover that the monster's brain activity is increasing rapidly even in dormant state and will rise anytime soon.
Awoke from his sleep, Gai finds himself tended by Naomi, asking for Natasha's name, having heard Gai mumbling that name. Gai reveals that Natasha was a woman from his past who he fails to save. Naomi tells her mother to leave for her own safety while the former stayed, wanting to find the meaning of her childhood dream of the giant of light. Jetta and Shin appear and notify Naomi to follow them with Keiko following them in suit, wanting to experience her daughter's job. Gai tries to leave but soon discovers that his Ultra Fusion Card Holder is missing. In the forbidden forest, Naomi trips over a fragment, which reveals to be a part of Tamayura's grave marker and Shin discovers a strange magnetic wave from these as they try to combine the fragments immediately while Keiko plants a seed.
Gai meets Jugglus again and tries to reclaim his cards but his fatigue prevents him from fighting, causing Jugglus to leave out of disappointment. During that time, Maga-Orochi awakens from its sleep. While Tamayura's grave marker had been rearranged, the seed planted by Keiko brows into a flower which brings forth Tamayura as she flies towards Gai. Presenting the cards of Zoffy and Belial, she orders Gai to use them, wanting him to master the power of both light and darkness but at the same time be wary of it, as such power can bring disaster if not properly controlled. After installing Zoffy's card, Gai repeatedly tries to insert Belial but the card prevents him from doing so. Although Tamayura shields them from Maga-Orochi, she finally lowers the defense shield and have herself destroyed in front of Gai. Out of infuriation, Gai decides to use his anger, causing Belial's card to shine and scans it, finally gaining his approval as the evil Ultra laughs in amusement. The combination leads to Thunder Breastar, through which he marches and violently attacks Maga-Orochi in various ways possible. SSP and Keiko watches in horror of the horrid giant and Jugglus, who was also watching the battle, yells in frustration for not only his rival to master the darkness but also overpowering Maga-Orochi. Having slammed the monster with multiple buildings and its own tail being ripped off, Orb launches his finisher to finally destroy the monster before leaving.
Driven mad by his failures to defeat his rival Gai, Jugglus returns the Fusion Card Holder to Gai and warns him that the two of them are not so different. Gai left to the forbidden forest and picks Naomi while Keiko has Shibukawa take her as she recalls Gai's Orbnica melody from somewhere else.

Okay, in this last novel is it said quite bluntly that allowing the Emperor to become a true god is A Very Bad Idea, even if it's done with the best of intentions... even if not doing it means Horus will win and destroy Humanity...
Sooo... are we going to end with a version of the Dark King that is WAY worse and more evil that the one that would have been born during the Siege of Terra? Could it be that it was Chaos Gods' plan all along? To make him shed all his love and compassion and hope and be tortured and worshiped during 10,000 years to make him REALLY become the Dark King...?
2.-His soul, barely attached to his body, that has become increasingly fractured, and is probably being influenced by all that worship into becoming a true god and may be the one empowering the Sororitas and creating Living Saints and the Legion of the Damned and all that stuff. It may even believe itself to be a real divinity.
3.-The Star Child, who, by Malcador's words, will grow to become a Chaos God of Love, Compassion and Hope. It is another possible origin for the Living Saints and the powers of the Sororitas... I wonder if it can corrupt people... are all the devoted people in the IoM corrupted by the Star Child...?
4.-The Emperor generated in the Warp by the faith of all the imperial devotees... It could be that the miracles of saints and Sororitas aren't gifts from the Emperor, they could be generated by the influence of faith on the Warp... and if that is so, it could happen that even if the original Emperor doesn't become a god, a God-Emperor were generated on its own anyway...
5.-The Astronomicon. The burning souls of the Astronomicon's choir have generated an entity in the image of the Emperor, or rather, in the image of how they believe the Emperor to be, and we don't know how much control the true Emperor has over it...
