With all the upcoming changes in MongoDB and its drivers, I took a run at testing CongoMongo with the 2.12.0-rc0 Java driver today and I'm getting a failure in one test - coercions - test/congomongo.clj:33 and I'm at a bit of a lost as to why or what to do about it.

The problem is that two apparently identical BasicDBObjects do not compare equal.

I'd love to get another set of eyes on the problem.

To repro, clone the repo and update project.clj to depend on the 2.12.0-rc0 Java driver (instead of the 2.11.4 driver) and run lein test (or lein test-all). You should see a single failure.

Otherwise, my tests against MongoDB 2.6.0-rc0 itself have gone smoothly... so it's just the updated driver.

(For Monger, the updated driver doesn't seem to be a problem, but I had no luck running its test suite against 2.6.0-rc0 - talking with Michael Klishin about that)
