We're having a Compass meeting on Monday, Feb 1, 7pm - 8pm
Cure Bar & Bistro (inside the Grand Hyatt)
1000 H Street Northwest
Washington, DC 20001-4520
(202) 637-4906
Goal: "Are we gonna do this?"We (myself included) have not given the Compass the attention that is required in order to bring it to fruition. The goal of this meeting is to determine if there is enough interest and commitment on the part of the community to move forward or not. If you are unable to attend the meeting but have an opinion on this, please reply to this email either publicly or privately.
For those who aren't already familiar, the Compass is an online guide to use of internet communications and social media by Congressional offices - a resource that can ease the process by which staffers learn how to use the latest and greatest tools for citizen engagement by connecting them to social media professionals working in the space.
