Clarification on Multi-Region Clusters

I am looking to get clarification on support of Multi-Region Clusters throughout Confluent Platform and Confluent Cloud. Namely, where are Multi-Region Clusters supported?

https://docs.confluent.io/platform/current/multi-dc-deployments/index.html has the statement that Multi-Region Clusters are "a Confluent Platform feature only and is not available on Confluent Cloud".

However, https://www.confluent.io/confluent-cloud says that you can "Streamline DR ops with multi-region clusters" under the Highly Available section.

Is there any clarification on to this contrasting documentation / information?

The cloud website is either wrong, or refers to something other than
"a single Kafka cluster running on two vendor regions".
Confluent Cloud does not currently have multi-region clusters - when
you will go to create a cluster you will notice that you have to
choose a single region.

Thank you for the quick response and clarification. Is there anything available publicly as to the roadmap for Confluent Cloud and if MRCs would be available sometime in the future? Or a place to request MRCs as a feature in Confluent Cloud?

We don't have a public roadmap. If you are a customer, giving this
feedback to a sales contact would work. In addition, I can forward
your mail to our PM team.

Are there specific regions you'd be interested in? and can you add a
bit more about the MRC use-case?

We've followed up with some of the Confluent sales contacts that we have access to and they redirected us to the Cluster Linking feature (instead of wanting MRC on Cloud) which should be just as much of a solution for us. So we are investigating that path for now and will follow-up with them for any additional questions, comments, or new use cases.
