I was able to get S3 Connector to write messages from a Kafka topic to a S3 bucket but for security reasons our DevOps team doesn't allow us to write to a Bucket. They've created a folder inside a bucket for me but I am unable to write to a folder. I've tried several ways such as:

s3.bucket.name=my-bucket
path.format=my-folder

But I keep getting 'Access Denied' message. Is there a way to write in a folder inside a bucket - or - is that not allowed?

No solution from me, just info.
Looks like AuthZ is ok if you can write to the bucket.

S3 Cloud Connector docs are here https://docs.confluent.io/cloud/current/connectors/cc-s3-sink.html
S3 Platform Connector docs are here https://docs.confluent.io/kafka-connect-s3-sink/current/index.html
