He was a wonderful man.  My parents owned a "stray dog" and when that "stray" became ill, my Momma somehow got him to see Dr. C.  I don't know what he said to my Momma but she insisted to taking that dog back again and again and spent more on that particular pet then I ever knew she could or would spend and she told me what a wonderful man Dr. C. was.  That was the way I learned about him.  (By this time I was a married woman with children and had lived all over the world & always thought of him with reverance.
