Just thought I would share this information with the group for those
of you who have had your appetites whetted by the second Med Flory
Festival. Keep in mind that the real Chicago Jazz Festival happens on
September 4th - 6th. (not to be confused by the soft jazz thing that
takes place earlier in the summer.)

Anyway the price for all of the official Mayor's Office festivities is
right - absolutely free.

26th Annual Chicago Blues Festival


The 2009 fest runs three days instead of four. Whether or not this
means it's no longer the "largest free outdoor blues event in the
world" is yet to be determined. What we do know is that this Chicago
staple will continue to be a hugely popular event.
