It shows in the Autocad portion (pls see the picture below) that I can access all the Autocad types including mechanical. When I installed the Autocad on my PC it only shows the regular Autocad. Have I missed something? How can I access Autocad Mechanical?
But it is quite common practice to do the blocks on layer 0 so they take on the properties of the layer they are inserted into. This is structural not mechanical though, which is where I am working at the moment.
hi i would like to open on mechanical mode but everytime t opens on auto cad. i tryd going to start programs autodesk but theres no option for autocad mechanical. and i need to use constrction lines. i can only find 1 type on construction line under draw in auto cad. i need it show like how it does on mechanical were there are various options for construction lines
going by your suggestions, I just changed the target in my ACAD shortcut to add my profile and changed "ACADM" to just "ACAD", like this: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\acad.exe" /p ARG_autocad-2016_profile_150714 /product ACAD /language "en-US".
