"Steel" is an episode of the American television anthology series The Twilight Zone. Set in the near future, its premise is that human professional boxing has been banned and replaced by android boxing. The story follows a once-famous human boxer who works as a manager for an antiquated android while struggling to come to grips with his career having been taken over by machines.

In the near-future year of 1974, boxing between human fighters has been criminalized and the sport is dominated by fighting robots. Former boxer Timothy Kelly (nicknamed "Steel" because, as a heavyweight, he was never knocked down) manages a B2-model robot called "Battling Maxo", an older model that is no longer in demand. Kelly and his partner, Pole, have used the last of their money to get to the fight venue. They are being given this chance because one of the scheduled fighters was damaged in transport. Kelly has to assure fight promoter Nolan and his assistant Maxwell that Maxo will be able to fight. After they leave Nolan's office, Kelly and Pole argue repeatedly over Maxo's fitness. Kelly claims Maxo should be able to go through with the fight despite its age and condition. Pole tests Maxo's functions and an arm spring fails, effectively prohibiting it from fighting as they don't have the equipment to repair it. The outdated springs in question are no longer even made.

Kelly decides he will disguise himself as Maxo to collect the money necessary for repairs. Despite a valiant effort, he is unable to damage Maynard Flash, the B7 robot that he is fighting, even when he lands an unblocked punch directly into the back of its head. He is nearly killed but manages to last a little under three minutes of the first round. The crowd jeers and boos at "Maxo" (really Kelly in disguise)'s performance.

Afterward, the fight promoter withdraws half of the promised $500 payment due to poor performance; Kelly dares not protest to prevent recognition. Badly bruised but stubborn as ever, Kelly tells Pole they will use whatever they have to repair Maxo, regardless.

Portrait of a losing side, proof positive that you can't outpunch machinery. Proof also of something else: that no matter what the future brings, man's capacity to rise to the occasion will remain unaltered. His potential for tenacity and optimism continues, as always, to outfight, outpoint and outlive any and all changes made by his society, for which three cheers and a unanimous decision rendered from the Twilight Zone.

This was the first episode sponsored by Procter & Gamble (alternating sponsorship with American Tobacco), who usually "pitched" Crest toothpaste, Lilt Home Permanent, and Prell shampoo, among their other products. Serling was not required to endorse any of P&G's products at the end of their episodes.

Serling, in his narration, had predicted that professional boxing would be outlawed within five years of the episode's airing; at the time, the sport was mired in controversy after Emile Griffith killed his opponent Benny Paret in a nationally televised and particularly brutal 1962 match. With Paret's death at Griffith's hands, as well as the death of Davey Moore from a neck injury sustained in a March 1963 contest,[1] the specter of the sport being outlawed was a realistic possibility at the time "Steel" was broadcast.[2] Serling's prediction did not come to fruition; although boxing declined in popularity in the succeeding years, it has never been outlawed.

But who cares? Galvanax is taken out by a comet, which was pulled to Earth by a magnet we only established one episode ago! Look, I love Victor and Monty. Those actors are giving it their all but making your comedic side characters more competent than you main villain is a bad writing move.

France is currently scheduled to air new episodes every weekday. As always, international airing patterns tend to be much more fluid, so the schedule is subject to change at any moment.

Dimensions in Danger is the tenth episode of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, the second season of Power Rangers Ninja Steel. Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise, it serves as a crossover between the Ninja Steel Rangers and several Legendary Rangers as they fight Lord Draven.

Tommy Oliver, now a father who still lives at Reefside was just return from the dojo to pick up his son, J.J. at their home to school while phoning his wife to prepare a schedule for dinner. As Tommy was about to enter his house, he is captured by Lord Draven.

The Ninja Steel Rangers are playing pool at school when they receive a message from Mick saying they have some visitors. When the Rangers show up, the 3 strangers from the previous episode enter through their portal. They reveal themselves to be Wesley Collins/Time Force Red Ranger, Koda/Dino Charge Blue Ranger, and Gemma/Ranger Operator Series Silver. They explain that Draven has been capturing Rangers from other dimensions and ask the Ninja Steel Rangers if they have seen anything suspicious. They say they haven't but they want to help. Wes explains that first, they need to find Tommy Oliver.

They travel to Oliver's house, where they see Draven and some Basherbots carrying a large chest come through a portal. Robo-Tommy comes out of the house. Madame Odius also appears, reminding Draven about their deal. She then makes the three arrows inside Draven's chest powerful and explains that after firing the first Mega-Arrow, Draven must wait for the sky to turn red. She then goes back to the Warrior Dome. Draven, Robo-Oliver, and the Basherbots leave through the portal. Wes creates his own portal to the Antiverse where the other Rangers follow.

The scene changes to Draven's Robot Ranger factory, where it is seen that Draven has also captured Antonio Garcia/Gold Samurai Ranger, Katherine Hillard/Pink Turbo Ranger I, Rocky DeSantos/Mighty Morphin Red Ranger II, T.J. Johnson/Blue Space Ranger, Gia Morgan/Megaforce Yellow, and Trent Fernandez-Mercer/White Dino Ranger. Draven is using the Rangers to make robotic clones and is assembling an army to tear down the dimensions. Oliver, in his black dino thunder form, destroys one of the cloning machines. Draven's robotic factory is shut down, but he remains assured that his army is already big enough.

Meanwhile, the Ninja Steel Rangers and others try to sneak into Draven's factory, taking out all the Basherbots along the way. The real Tommy Oliver shows up to help them. He leads them into the factory, but Draven finds them. He fires one of his Mega-Arrows into the sky and a black crack forms on the barrier. The Rangers are forced to find another way inside; they find and free the captives. All manage to escape except for Oliver, who gets attacked by his robot imposter, who morphs into the Black Dino Ranger. The real Oliver morphs into his Zeo Ranger V Red form, and the two fight, with the real Tommy also morphing into the White and Green Ranger. The robot gets defeated and the factory explodes into smithereens.

Brody and Sarah are searching for the exit when suddenly they find the chest containing two of Draven's Mega-Arrows. Sarah ties Brody onto the chest, with Preston controlling his Dragon Zord outside the factory. He flies Brody and the chest away along with the other Rangers making their escape, but Draven shoots them down. He fires his second Mega-Arrow into the sky as soon as it turned red. The Ninja Steel Rangers are confronted by Draven's robotic ranger army. They and the other rangers morph and defeat the robots.

As soon as Draven becomes gigantic, he fires his final Mega-Arrow at the sky. However, Tommy Oliver morphs into the White Ranger again and his Falconzord catches the Mega-Arrow. The other Rangers shoot Draven from the ground and the Falcon Zord plunges the final Mega-Arrow into Draven, destroying him. The crack in the barrier is fully repaired.

Brown has also introduced legislation with Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) to apply Buy America rules to all taxpayer-funded infrastructure and public works projects. Brown led the fight last Congress to restore Buy America provisions to the water infrastructure bill that would have permanently changed the law to require the use of American-made iron and steel products in infrastructure projects.

The hot rolling plant of the Kashima ironworks, which has been engaged in production tasks like packing coils since the beginning of operations, is a place that carries a long history, even among the many different Konoike sites. I think one of the appealing things about Konoike is that they allow someone like me, a woman, to be active at the ironworks, a place which has traditionally been thought of as a man's domain. I think a lot of women want to work in Tokyo or in some other job that's more glamorous, but I'm happy that I was able to get a job doing something that's a bit different from what my classmates are doing. I've been interested in overseas distribution since I was in school, and I wanted to find a position in international logistics. However, when I experienced the shock of watching a 16,000-ton forging press machine operate at the pressing site of the business office to which I was assigned after joining the company, this became the job I wanted to have. I felt something I had never experienced before, and I was really impressed and wanted to be a part of it.

One of the reasons I find my job enjoyable is that I know that I am doing something that most women around the world have not experienced. Another big part of it is that I am making things with my own hands that are used all over the world. Coils are a top-market item due to their use as a stainless steel component. Whenever I see a commercial with some stainless steel kitchenware, I wonder if it uses the coils we make. (Laughs) I'm proud that the products that we are involved with are used in many different places around the world.
