Hi Arun,

On the first day i rem specifically mentioning that when we've 2 public holidays we cover one class not both the classes. All the teachers on the first day talk about this to their class. May be it slipped your mind.

Don't worry I haven't taken this personally.

You've any complains against our rules then you've to talk to our academic manager.

Regards

Swapna

Thank you Swapna. But I'm sorry my doubt was not cleared yet.

1. When the Govt has anounced the public holidays very earlier, which was even printed in British Council's 2010 Pocket Calender, why can't the British Council plan for exactly 14 days or 42 hours of class, when they are telling us(the students) that we'll be having 42 hours of class per module.

2. If they(BC) are actually affected by the public holidays for planning the class hours, they should have informed the students priorly that they will be covering the portions in 39hours due to such constraints or should not have told that we will be having 42 Class hours. And we've never been informed like that.

3. Moreover we're not asking for any extra time, we're just asking for the time that is within the said time.

4. If the syllabus had met our requirements, we wouldn't be asking for this time even.

5. And I'm very sorry to disturb you when you're ill, you could have msged me yesterday itself, I never would've disturbed you. Even I've written this above informations to just let you know about and not to make you to speak back to the British Council people. Also I understand that this concern is not related to you, so I'll try to contact the right person in British Council.

As we clearly understand this concern/dispute is between British Council and me as a customer and there is nothing personal between us as a student & teacher. So please don't take this as personal and please come for the farewell lunch we've arranged as you are our Special Guest. I wish you for a Speedy Recovery. Soon I'll let you know about the venue and timings.

Also our group invitation to your mail ID is still in unaccepted stage. If you want to add a different mail ID instead of this you can tell me or even if you dont want to join our group, thats fine, I can understand that. But it would be helpful if our group have a guide like you. But anything is fine and please kindly communicate it.

This is for your kind information: You know how hard it is for me  to write this mail and how much time I took to give a proper communication in English. Still I dont know whether I've communicated properly. I'm consuming more time in writing one simple letter. I'm badly in a need to overcome this problem. You can tell me this can be rectified through practice, but I dont know whether what I've written is right or wrong and most of the time I'm skeptical and confused. For my future plans I need to have a proper english communication. Thats the reason I've joined here. Please kindly understand. Once again I'm sorry If I've disturbed you much.

Arun Sivakumar

Hi Arun,

1. when there are 2 public holidays (independence day n vinayar chathurthi) BC covers one class not both the classes. If there are 3 public holidays Bc will cover 2 not 3.

2. the first class which was on sunday was a cover class for one of the public holidays.

3. I think this should have cleared ur doubt.

and i won't be able to talk to u coz i'm very ill at the moment and the doctor has asked me to rest.

Hi Swapna,

I tried reaching you many times, but couldn't, as you seems to be very busy. Sorry for disturbing you. But this is very important and urgent.

So far we've undergone only 12 classes and sunday is the last class, that means only 13 days of class i.e., 13x3=39hours of class we've been taught. But when we've joined we've been told that we'll be having 42 hours of class i.e,. 14daysx3hours. So we still have 3 more hours. Regarding this I called you twice and came to British Council yesterday to discuss it with you, but unfortunately you're not there. Hence I enquired with your BC customer service persons, but inturn they asked me to check with you. So kindly help us regarding this.
Regardless of the syllabus completion we still have 3 more hours which we can use it for clarifying our doubts which is the actual need for us as we've already told in the class. You also have told that if we have time after completing the syllabus we can concentrate on such things (like Grammar especially tenses and sentence construction, Phonetic, Vocabularies,etc.,.) and now here is the time. Though we learnt some good stuffs from the syllabus, we all still feel that the syllabus didn't exactly fulfill our needs and this option would be better for us.

Regarding this we are in need of your help.

So please help us and pls reply as early as possible.

Regards,
Arun Sivakumar.M
