I would like to ask you for help. I found out that that my glide slope TKM MC60 doesn't work. I tested it according the installation manual and vertical guidance is broken. Because this is my backup I don't want to spent much money to replace it. I ordered on Ebay ARC Course Indicator 43910-2100 Model IN-443BR, the problem is that I cannot find wiring diagram. If you have any experience with this device, I will really appreciate your help. I have an electrical background and I will install everything with my A&P mechanic.
Thank you guys for your advises. The only reason why I ordered it was price. I have a glide slope receiver KN75 and I thought that everything would work together. I don't want this MC60 anymore, I prefer regular glide slope indicator.
Interpreting electrical drawings accurately is one of the most important skills that a professional working in a related field can acquire. With this course, you will learn how to read drawings and become familiar with important terms associated with the drawings including the different electrical symbols, lines, and layouts. An electrical plan is one of the most critical blueprints of a project, so it is important that you learn to read this by heart.
Next, you will learn about scale drawings, power plans, lighting floor plans, electrical details, and diagrams. The course will also cover the different electrical current testing instruments such as an ammeter and a galvanometer as well as discuss their uses. You will also get a clear understanding of how a moving-coil meter operates, the purposes of testing equipment such as a voltmeter, ohmmeter, and multimeter, and the difference between an analog and a digital voltmeter.
Being able to read the wiring and cable connections is essential for proper electrical installation and maintenance. This Introduction to Basic Electrical Drawings and Test Equipment course will be of great interest to professionals in the areas of construction and electrical engineering, as well as learners who want to gain practical knowledge and understanding of the electrical trade. So why wait? In just a few short hours, your electrical skills, and your rsum, will be at the next level.

An electrical drawing is a type of technical drawing that provides visual representation describing electrical systems or circuits. They are sometimes referred to as wiring diagrams and are used to explain the design to electricians or other workers who will use them to help install or repair electrical systems. Alison's free online electrical drawing training courses teach the required knowledge and skills that help prevent potential injury.
Each of the online electrical drawing courses on Alison are free, as are all of Alison's online courses. Alison's learners do not have to pay anything to take these courses unless they want a digital or physical copy of the course certificate.
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the working principles of electromagnetic and auxiliary relays. Before working on various arrangements of relay contacts, it is important to understand the types of relay contacts and their operations. This course explores power contactors, chattering of relays and auxiliary relay contact multiplication. It also introduces you to monitoring, timer and electrical reset relays. The material teaches you about the types of timers for relay logic operation, how a typical control panel can be presented and the common rules that should be followed. You will learn about the operations of the control panel, as well as a rotary selector switch. Also, this course identifies the equipment that can specifically be designed to control the damage to the power system.
If you want to acquire a detailed understanding of the different symbols, ANSI numbers and single line diagrams, then you should sign up. By taking this course, you will be able to explain the process of wiring diagrams, cable schedules and how to read a schematic drawing. You will understand the structure of schematic drawings sheets and the concept of a simple control circuit. Go through the characteristics of a crane circuit, as well as the steps required for troubleshooting a typical car control circuit. Study the working principles of an annunciator and how to troubleshoot one. Do you know there are factors that must be considered before the operation of the electro-mechanical annunciator? This course discusses the sequential functioning of a typical DC electro-mechanical type annunciator. If you have difficulty understanding the working of a circuit breaker and the control scheme of a circuit breaker, then this course is for you.
Furthermore, you will learn about troubleshooting techniques of the closing and tripping schemes of a circuit breaker. You will be able to describe the trip circuit supervision procedure and the important equipment in control circuits. Explore how the steps for troubleshooting a simple control circuit can be implemented. This course improves your skills for removing problem-causing components and improving the performance of the system in the control circuits. Explore the characteristics of the attracted armature relays together with UV and OV relays. This course will improve your electrical drawings and cable schedules. It will be useful for electrical technicians and electrical engineering students who want to know more about circuit diagrams and reading blueprints.
This comprehensive interactive multimedia training program consists of two individual lessons that train participants to read and interpret wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, building electrical diagrams, and ladder diagrams.
Description: This lesson shows and explains how to read and interpret the symbols on an electrical schematic the function of the input, logic, and output elements of a control circuit. This lesson identifies devices that are typically used as these elements, and presents their schematic symbols. This lesson also describes the steps for interpreting the relationships among the input, logic, and output components of an electrical schematic.
Description: This lesson presents information about three types of electrical diagrams: building diagrams, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams. This lesson explains how to identify components, equipment, wire and cables on these diagrams how to relate the diagrams to the installed hardware and how to use diagrams for maintenance and troubleshooting problems.
The primary and basic tool for troubleshooting and maintenance of an electrical installation is to understand and interpret electrical drawings and control circuits. This seminar will familiarise engineers and technicians with the various standards and practices of electrical drawings, in addition to understand the power flow and equipment installed.
Electrical symbols and designations on schematic and wiring diagrams facilitate the operations of the primary and secondary equipment. These aspects with respect to reading and tracing electrical drawing will be covered in the seminar.
This course will utilize a variety of proven adult learning techniques to ensure maximum understanding, comprehension and retention of the information presented. This includes audio and video power point presentation. The course is designed to have an interactive format to maximize delegate participation. Questions and answers sessions are encouraged throughout the course. The case-studies are tailored to the attendees needs and various examples from practice will be discussed in problem solving workshop sessions.
