So, I'm pretty excited about this idea.

We get the $600/mo basement corner. We make it super cozy and get a
fridge/microwave/toaster oven. We stock it with food. We dedicate
ourselves to eating lunch there a minimum of 3 times a week. And we
charge ourselves like a deli for all the food.

I would at least be turning the $150 I spend on lunch in those 12
lunches into $100 of supporting the space.

People who are only casually interested in space can come by once a
week, have a turkey sandwhich or a boca burger, beer or a soda.
Watch an anime episode, play some Magic the Gathering or something.
Work on a project.

Then we advertise to all of tech industries in our neighboorhood, that
we have an internet cafe of sorts. A geek coffee shop. Tell people
that they can bring their own food, but then they gotta make a $5
donation. Monday could be anime day, Tuesdays and Thursdays would be
drink and pretzel games.

We could also try dinner there. To start plan on having dinner there
once a week. That really wouldn't save me much as I don't go out for
dinner much during the week, but I know John does.

Feedback plz.

I really like the idea of getting space, and Ian's called me once to
check in to see if we're interested. However, I'm guessing it may be
easier for people to just commit to hanging out on a regular basis
until we get more people together. (Yes, this is a reversal of my
previous thinking.)

We should still do the lunch idea here at work, though. :)
