Iam trying to find a way to be able to report Vendor number/Vendor name and Document Header text in the same output. I have found KSB1 and it contains everything I need for reporting except the Vendor number/name.

What is happend: after a simple ST-A/PI update I restarted SAP (DEV). On an other system (QAS) I restarted the whole system. Just a simple restart .. not a bit of it! After the restart, I started the DB and tried to start SAP via MMC, but the MMC just showed the Process List and Access Points and SAP doesn't come up!

In the service builder I have successfully created and activated an OData Service with several entities. Now I have created a second service and have redefined one of the entities of the first service. Finally I have added one attribute to this entity in the second service. Also this service could be generated succesfully. But when calling the service I get the error message "Property [NEW ATTRIBUT] of data object [ENTITY] has no Internal type assigned."

That depends on what you mean by "decommission". Aside from deleting the system in the service marketplace, there's not much you need to do from an SAP point of view. If the server is now completely redundant, you probably want to secure wipe the disks and dispose of it or repurpose it. There's no need to uninstall unless you can't wipe the disks...

I want to mass-update contracts via a report. I want to set status to released to start replication to ERP. How can I reach this? Ive tried crm_order_Maintain and CRM_ORDER_CHANGE_STATUS. In both cases the status got set but no replication is triggered! I have considered order_save and commit also! I think I need an other function module?

I have search the internet and the community network for a solution with no luck. This happens on only one report. It's an oracle database 11g, and the report has one subreport. Any help would be appreciated.

A transport has now been created in ChaRM and I login to the above mentioned development system and make a customizing change. I then choose the transport and save change. I am presented with an error:

As soon as I deactivate CSOL in /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF in Solman (for development client), I can make changes and the above error (in red) does not appear. However, we needed CSOL working and this error not to appear.

While installing the diganostic agent to the managed server I am entering the "cname" when prompted for the Host Name of the managed server. I am doing this because the additional information for this task says "Change Host Name if you plan to manage systems running on a virtual host. This scenario lets the diagnostics agent take part in a switchover environment." The issue I have occurs when I attempt to setup the managed server usgin the tcode solman_setup after installing the diagnostic agent. The fourth step in setting up the managed system is: Assign Diagnostic Agent

Notice that the database is running on host w2pads - this is the cname of the server. The JAVA instances is running on aix862r2 - this is the hostname of the server. In the SLD the System ID is associated with the cname. In LMDB the JAVA instance is associated with the cname. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

Can you please explain the process to enable/disable the SCOPE Edit button when we perform a change request in ChaRM? I believe it should be through a authorization object where we can enable the "EDIT" button next to change scope of Change request?

ARIS is an Enterprise Level Business Process Modeling tool. The Business Strategy of the Organization gives birth to Business Processes across the different Organizational Unit. These are drafted in the ARIS modeling tool as a 7 level structure.

What is distinctly different in ARIS is that it does not matter if the Process broken upto the Process step or activity or task is running on SAP or any other system. ARIS just aims to map all the processes that runs in the Enterprise.

What Solution Manager does is to import the Business Process from ARIS to a 3 level structure and "translate" these processes into the "SAP Objects world", namely the Transactions, IMG Objects, Dev. objects, etc.

The Business processe now gets a Transaction, Program, Job or other SAP objects assigned against it, the IMG documentation, other project documentation gets added etc. thereby completing the translation to an SAP world.

The key point is - tomorrow if the Business process that is in ARIS need to run on a mobile device or a third party system replacing SAP etc, these processes should still be available on ARIS. The SAP translated objects just gets replaced with the new system that is being implemented.

Ideally, for the Business Processes the synchronization should always be one sided. From ARIS to Solman. This is because of where we started this article from - the processes at the Enterprise level is irrespective of whether they run in SAP or non-SAP. The processes should first be defined in ARIS and if they are running in the SAP systems then they are translated into the SAP object world in Solman!!!

Also the "Systems" which are created in the System Landscape need to be synchronized into ARIS. Note here that the Systems (SAP & non SAP legacy systems) are added to the LMDB of Solman thereby completing the Technical landscape documentation and then grouped into logical components are assigned to the Project. This is now reverse synchronized to ARIS.

MY SUM (Software Update Manager) is stuck in the phase where it is asking me to provide the DVD Mount Point for the Language Select. I have followed the note no: 1876736 where I have selected the Expert Mode in the beginnning of the Configuration Phase, but that is also not helping.

I was doing System preparation in solution manager through Solman_setup.In step 6.5 I came across Install Diagonostic agent .I checked in my system that older version of SMD is installed that may cause problem in future so I decided to uninstall it and install newer version of SMD7.3.I downloaded the SMD file and started sapinst with sudo access to uninstall it.Now I am getting an error saying ORADBPAR.XML file not found.I checked for this file but I could not find .Plz help me out to find this file and resolve the issue.

I have installed solution manager 7.1 SP3 and completed the SP10 patch upgrade using SUM tool. The upgrade was completed successfully. After upgrade igswd was red. Then i copied the Igs files in kernel files. Now ABAP instance and Igs is working now but JAVA is not coming up. JAVA process table also empty. Can any one help me to solve this issue. Attached the error for reference.
