I, for one, feel like I just finished a marathon. We've finally released v0.9.0 of concurrent-ruby and concurrent-ruby-ext. We've also published the first release of the edge gem (v0.1.0) and a major update to the ref gem (2.0.0).
The focus of the 0.9 release was to stabilize the APIs for a 1.0 release. Over the next month or two we'll focus our efforts on improving our test suite and stabilizing any bugs. We'll also remove all deprecated code. Finally, we'll profile the gem's performance on numerous platforms to ensure there are no memory leaks or hidden race conditions. Once we're comfortable that we have a mature, stable build, we'll release 1.0.
Thank you very much to everyone who participated in this release. Especially those who are using our gems in their own projects and who gave us valuable feedback.
