For those of you looking for outdoor play now, I just found out about the SNOWSHOE DISC GOLF LEAGUE at Mystic Meadows in Laconia http://www.themysticmeadows.com/p_ski.php. It's Saturdays at noon, and it's not traditional disc golf (description below). Note that you play in pairs, but it sounds like they break you up if you show up as a pair (you play in the same foursome). $9 per person, including hot chocolate, or $5.40  with dallar saver (http://nhdollarsaver.dollarsavershow.com/Advertiser.aspx?advertiser_id=3655). I can't tell if the snowshoes are included or if you pay extra if you don't bring your own. The Laconia Sun had a photo of the "Snowshoe Disc Golf World Championship" on the front page of its Tuesday edition (http://issuu.com/dailysun/docs/lds2-26-13 - note the cheesy basket).

Snowshoe Disc Golf League
Snowshoe Disc Golf is a fun activity for teams of 2.
-Each team of 2 players plays with one regulation size disc.
-The disc is advanced from the tee box to the basket by being tossed from one team mate to another until one team mate can put the disc in the basket.
-The number of tosses, including the toss into the basket, is the team score for the hole.
-If the disc is tossed and it is not touched by the teammate, and the disc hits the ground, the team is assessed a 2 toss penalty. Play continues from the point where the disc lands, no closer to the hole.
-If the disc is thrown and is touched by the teammate but not caught and it hits the ground the team is assessed a 1 toss penalty. Play continues from the point where the disc lands, no closer to the hole.
-Lost Disc Penalty, if the disc is thrown and is irretrievable, a 2 toss penalty is assessed. Summons the beverage cart to retrieve the disc.
-This is a game of honor and teams are to assess the penalty on themselves.
-Total score for the nine holes is the team game score.
Individuals that show up as a single to play will be paired with other individuals to form a team. Teams will be paired up and play as a foursome.
Partners that show up to play will be paired with other twosomes and partners will be swapped to make a team.
