I am not associated with the Concrete5 software development team,
however they deserve a huge atta-boy for coming up with this very user
friendly contact management software. and because the core is free
'open source'!!!

I am a newcomer to web design with the desire but very little
knowledge of the hyper text markup language 'HTTP' required to build a
website.
About the middle of October 2009, I decided to learn how to build a
web site when our Franklin Community Players theatrical group who
requested a new website. My first site www.franklincommunityplayers.org
check it out.

I said no problem, I'll just download
Joomla as it is free 'open source' and build the site with that.
Ignorance is sometime bliss. Well,
after some very exasperating days of striking the proverbial brick
wall. I came across a Drupal website and decide that this software
would be better for leaning to build a site. Not.

Well, after several frustrating weeks of hitting my head against that
same brick learning curve, I read about Concrete5's ability to edit a
site from the front end without having to know code. I decided to give
it a try.

I must say that overall I have been very pleased with the software and
assistance through the Concrete 5 development forums.

I have decided to open this discussion group because during
an upgrade from 5.3.2 to 5.3.3.1 the site crashed. Block areas just
filled with junk copy.

Fortunately I have a site backup waiting just in case I am unable to
resolve some of these issues.

Please read site guidelines in the next posting. Thanks for stopping
by.
