Switch to Extra Hard Bond Metals: You need a hard metal matrix so the segment doesn't break down prematurely under the heavy friction.
Deep Chemical Densification Early: Don't wait until 200-grit. Apply a lithium or silicate densifier right after your initial heavy flattening pass (or even as a deep pre-treatment) to harden the top layer of the matrix. Let it cure fully before your next cut.
Check Wet vs. Dry: On super soft concrete, running wet can create a thick slurry that acts like liquid sandpaper and eats your segments. If you go dry, make sure your dust extractor has strong CFM to keep the cut clean.
