Hi All,

Recently, there has been some work done to make it easier to develop Concourse on Windows and/or using IntelliJ.

For windows development, the biggest changes are
  • using Git Bash instead of Cygwin
  • developing from the feature/windows-support branch instead of develop
If anyone runs into issues, let me know and I'd be happy to help.

Cheers,
Jeff

I will try to import concourse in Intellij 15.0.1 and check.

Thanks

Thanks! I don't personally use intellij at all so its possible the instructions I've written are not the best way to do things :)

Jeff,

In latest "develop" branch build is failing. Did the changes pushed to develop branch as well?

* What went wrong:

Task 'idea' not found in root project 'concourse'.

You need to update your fork

git fetch upstream
git rebase upstream/develop

ahh my bad. I forgot the intellij stuff is on the feature/windows-support branch instead of develop.

For now, i'd say if youre using intellij, use the feature/windows-support branch. Its the same as develop, just with some extra stuff for windows.

I'll add intellij to the develop branch in the new few days.
