The latest version 1.1 of Concordion.NET brings several improvements for test automation:
·
NUnit integration:
Concordion.NET tests support the NUnit attribute [TestFixtureSetUp] to run
initialization methods before the actual processing of active specifications. Since
the last release, Concordion.NET supports the execution of tests with the help
of NUnit, one of the most popular .NET testing frameworks. This is one of the
corner stones for a stable test execution environment for Concordion.NET and
the test lifecycle is now improved with the support of this additional NUnit
attribute.
·
Lists support:
Test data can be managed in a hierarchical manner based on HTML lists. Rather
than forcing product owners to specify requirements in a specially structured
language, Concordion.NET lets you write them in normal language using
paragraphs, tables and proper punctuation. Now Concordion.NET can also use HTML
lists as input to tests.
·
WYSIWYG HTML editor improvements:
The compliance to XHTML has been improved by supporting lower case attributes
for Concordion.NET. Better standard compliance enhances the usage of
what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) editors for the HTML documents. This
reduces the need for technical skills when product owners write and maintain
active specifications. Concordion.NET has been designed with a short learning-curve
as a top priority, which is further extended with the stronger support of
WYSIWYG editors.
