Thanks. I've updated the website to reference the chiknrice runner for Spring integration.

I don't know of any existing integration with Arquillian.

The FixtureRunner.run(Fixture) method is deprecated but should still work - if you'd like to chase this one up, let's continue this thread on the concordion-dev list.

I managed to test properly. The chiiknrice/concordion-spring-runner solution is working fine with 2.X. =)
If by any chance you manage to find some way to integrate 2.x with arquillian, let us know.
Thanks!

It compiles. =)

But I didn't have time to test it yet since I was actually using the broken line (new FixtureRunner().run(fixture);) to integrate concordion with arquillian.

I'm now changing my project from jee7 to java se 8 with spring. I believe I'll test it more until monday and I'll let you know the results.

If you also have any integration tips for arquillian, it would be awesome. I managed to do this integration with concordion 1.x. When I have some time, I'll try to work on this integration with concordion 2.x.

ps: Awesome news with junit5! Can't wait to see this happening!

Grats on the great job done so far.

The chiiknrice/concordion-spring-runner appears to work fine with Concordion 2.0. Would you let us know whether that fixes your issue please, and we'll update the integrations page on the website.

JUnit 5 will have a flexible extension model to allow combinations of runners to work together. We're aiming to support this in Concordion 2.1.

Hi,

While testing the new 2.0 release, I noticed that it breaks some code that was used to integrate concordion and spring.

I was using a class that I found to do this integration:

The following line is the one that breaks:
new FixtureRunner().run(fixture);

Did anyone manage to find another workaround to integrate concordion with other junit runners?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
