I was standing by the House steps today with a sign saying
"they are killing the dollar
I'm available for dictator
PresidentByAmendment .com"
as the first alphabetical tranches of Representatives came up to vote on the HEROES Act, and a white haired Representative, Grothman maybe, the Gs were voting then, pointed demonstratively at my sign and said I was right, they are killing the dollar, and said what he didn't get was why there weren't 1000 of me there. He then directed remarks at Don Murphy, said Don was a free thinker and he should be working to get people behind me, or opposing more insane spending, or something like that. The look on Don's face was memorable. Contemplative, perhaps.
At its least presumptuous level, this was a Member of the US House of Representatives saying something needs to be done that Congress isn't going to do. A cry for help, if you will, and it was quite in the mood of a cry for help. Later I said to Cathy McMorris Rogers, "Did I mention that there's going to be a currency collapse?" and she said, and this I can quote letter for letter, "It is terrifying." She looked scared. So did Grothman or whoever. And yes I have been screaming about the present meltdown for a fat decade. Basically by myself, right Don?
On the other hand, I'll be extremely presumptuous about a simple remark from Jamie Raskin for a moment. I said "Me for dictator" or something and he said "So you're still available?" He had told me a while ago he was available for vice dictator. He hasn't notified me that he's been doing much campaigning for it, however. The presumptuous bit is, I got the sense that he was scanning me very closely for any sign that my campaign had developed any non-delusionality behind it. "Scruffy as hell... check. Homemade sign... check. $100-- website...check. No entourage...check. No press attention...check. OK, continue to ignore."
My Raskin point is, Congress and Trump need to see that responsible, presentable people like Don Murphy are talking about a serious overhaul of the federal government, and talking about it in a way that can make it happen with no involvement of Congress or The Donald. Besides seeming scared, Congress still don't seem to be capable of changing their spots, even at this late date. Amash is worried about his hair. Schakowski needs to get my opinions categorized as Republican so she can ignore them. Nobody is ready to admit publicly, not even Massie, that Fed QE is illegal counterfeiting by privately owned banks. Et cetera. This is the arrogance of people that lose an empire, which is who these people are.
The degenerate bad marriage we have for a federal government needs to see that State legislators are talking seriously about such possibilities as barring every incumbent in DC from federal office. Personally, I would add replacing them all with one pretty good street musician. I would be happy to host such a discussion, as long as it involves calling a Constitutional Convention. I happen to have a forum set up for said discussion.
The threat of a Constitutional Convention may have caused several ratified Amendments, including the 21st. Please actualize that threat again. Congress is not fixing itself. Things ARE going to get worse, because Trump has already panicked. Not good. Please do email

That doesn't mean you support Rick for dictator. It means you are willing to discuss real change in a forum hosted by a guy who can tell real change from Trump, Obama, Biden, et cetera.
