beyond Impeachment
I had a nice chat today with Dave Mytych on the US Capitol grounds. Dave is the Congress outreach lead for FLARE, who support Impeachment and removal of Trump, and beyond. I'm about the beyond part. We had a fine time, though, because the Impeach part and the beyond part may well have some valuable synergies. Getting rid of Trump would quite probably have a very healthy effect on JD Vance and similar, and is of course quite well worth doing. If there was a lot of discussion of a concon to make somebody, me for example, dictator, this would provide FLARE with an interesting question to ask Republican Members of Congress: 'President Vance or Dictator Rick?'.
Dave asked me what is more feasible, a concon and dictator or an Impeachment. I think, and I think he thinks, they're in the same ballpark. Discussion of the beyond part makes both more likely. I'd be thrilled to help Impeach Trump. He might not want to say so, but I don't think Dave would mind a majoritarian short-term clearly delimited dictator along with overturning Citizens United and so on. The nation needs an overhaul. So this is a shameless attempt to get Dave to comment in conconusa. Can we talk? About policy, not me? The dictator part is just a couple paragraphs on my website.
Dave said something about 20% of Republicans supporting Impeachment of Trump right now. I don't doubt it. Unfortunately, that doesn't flip any Republican Members. So in the meantime, what do the American citizenry get in a scenario where they get the bulk of of the majority of them want that the corporate monoparty withholds? A few known examples...

Paper ballots.
No more Electoral College.
support Ukraine.
No tax dollars for genocide in Palestine.
Overturn Citizens United.
A couple of those need a Constitutional Amendment. I have started what I hope will be active threads in here for majoritarian statute and majoritarian Amendments. Ralph Nader at Occupy DC said "This is a majoritarian movement." Movement to do what, America? Tell me.
