The US response to Covid19 has been a disastrous incompetent panic. The response will certainly be worse than the virus. This is an extension of the unamerican cowardice the government has been promoting since at least Baby Bush. If they continue with their idiot totalitarian power trip third world fiscal and monetary stupidity and looting, there will be a collapse of the dollar. That is clearly the trend. At that point, Welcome to Failed State USA, suckers. At least that fixes the Military Industrial Complex problem. It is beneath specific criticism at this point. I'm sorry to bitch. Speaking of fixes, as dictator, I will be competent. We have a good example before us. The people that caused the current depression can't and won't fix it. They will not find the way out of it, which is to do what they should have done going into it;

The correct role of a federal government facing a new strain of the common cold is to 'mandate voluntary'. Same with a State. Getting out of people's way as they avoid disease needs government action in some respects. Mandate that individual discretion is legal and fundable. President Fauntleroy needs to declare a liberal unemployment policy on leaves of absence for persons WHO DEEM THEMSELVES AT RISK, especially government employees. The federal government might do some kind of bonus sick leave, like a month if you use it before August or something, no questions asked. Maybe at 80% pay or something. Businesses need to be allowed to make what social distancing policies they choose, OR NOT. Parks and libraries need to open immediately. Et cetera. Nothing needs to be closed.
That's at the federal level. States can still be paranoid, if they so choose. I recommend the above. Schools should reopen with liberal leave for all concerned, but I'm not running for dictator of the several States, just the United States.

Please forward this to State legislators, particularly in your State. To get the recovery right, the feds etc. have to admit they blew the response, which is why they're taking their sweet totalitarian time about the 'reopening'. Forget about them getting the recovery right. Correct will be immediate. Anything useful is going to have to go around Congress, President Fauntleroy, and the main scream media hysteria industry.
