Sonarr monitors multiple feeds for new/upcoming episodes of your favourite shows and will download, sort and rename them. Imagine an ongoing weekly tv show Sonarr will automatically grab every new episode and will add it to your plex library.
I was trying to figure out the best way to move my downloads from Sonarr over to plex when someone suggested connecting them and BAM it worked like a charm. My question now though is I can't figure out what it is doing. Is it simply moving the files from the completed folder into the plex tv folder? is it copying the files so I will end up with multiples? Is it directly the library to that folder? I just need to know if I will need to follow up on this every so often or if it just takes care of itself?
Description of issue:
Trying to add Plex Media server (Plex Version 1.7.1.3856) to Sonarr, but no matter what combination of IP, username and password I try it immediately comes back with Test Failed and cannot add the server.
I have tried all username combinations, from the local account, the plex.tv account for the server, no username/password.
And tried all of these with the SSL toggle on and off - pretty much every combination (although probably not the one that works!!)
I am a complete noob at unraid. A friend set up my plex server and path mappings. Somehow during a container update, my path mappings got erased and the container orphaned. I didnt know I could reinstall so I did a fresh Sabnzbd install. Now im stuck. Seems like the movies are downloading to the correct place but dont move and get renamed after.
I have this same problem, I cant connect Sonarr to plex anymore.
Unable to connect to Plex Server: Invalid TokenGet you plex token id and use that as your login name. Worked for me. _updated_for_plexs_recent_token/
When sonarr is downloading multiple episodes and shows, my Plex goes into a continuous scanning libraries loop. I have even went into Plex and turned off all library scanning settings but it had no impact. Is there something in Sonarr or NZBGet that I need to configure differently for Plex to not continuously scan when these are running?
