Other IT personal is not really versed in linux, that's why I'm doing this on windows 10 machine in a way that will be easy to explain (as much as you can easily explain console run software). So no WSL. I get enough blank stares from non-IT staff...
Snort configuration is similar to Linux, with a few differences. Navigate to the C:\Snort\etc directory and open the snort.conf file in a text editor. You can make changes to the configuration file according to your needs.
