As teased earlier this week, the new Pioneer CDJ-200 Nexus units have dropped with a brand new feature set, including the expected wireless Rekordbox functionality, tempo and beat synchronization, color-based key indicators, advanced slip modes for loops, reverse, and scratching, as well as a slew of other improvements. New rekordbox Software Functions
With the included rekordbox music management software installed on a computer, users can organize and catalog their entire music libraries. Newly added features available when rekordbox is used with the CDJ-2000nexus include music file analysis functions such as Wave Form Zoom (wave form expansion) and Key, as well as additional settings such as Active Loop and Hot Cue Auto Load.
Full-Color LCD Display
The CDJ-2000nexus features a large full-color WQVGA 6.1-inch (480 x 234) LCD panel for displaying song titles and album art as well as detailed track information. The Wave data of each song is also illustrated on screen and the new Wave Zoom function provides five different levels of magnification of the wave data which are color-coded according to bandwidth.
The Pioneer CDJ-900nexus is the perfect practise partner for any aspiring professional DJ and venues where the CDJ-2000nexus is not required. The CDJ-900nexus is built on the same main features of the CDJ-2000nexus, but adds varied performance features such as the automatic looping buttons. This is the perfect unit to hone your skills and will give you the same feel an ergonomics of the CDJs you will use in clubs and bars across the globe.The evolution of Pioneer's professional NXS (Nexus) line-up continues, with the addition of the CDJ-900NXS digital player. The latest player builds on the success of its predecessor, the CDJ-900, plus it's packed with new technology including a full colour LCD screen, Beat Divide, four-deck Beat Sync and the ability to play sets from a smartphone.
The CDJ-900NXS boasts Pioneer's a high resolution screen, giving DJs a quick and instant view of the Wave Display and Wave Zoom and the ability to view and edit rekordbox beatgrids. Like the top-flight CDJ-2000NXS, the CDJ-900NXS features even more intuitive browsing with the option to see tracks in list, artwork and custom views. Plus mixing tools such as Beat Countdown and Phase Meter can be pre-set in rekordbox for easy viewing during performance.
The old Auto Beat Loop function has been replaced with Beat Divide and Slip Loop: two new functions that make it easier to drastically alter the rhythm and add micro edits, knowing the breakdowns and drops will come when expected.
With Beat Divide, DJs can use the familiar beat buttons to divide each beat by the timing selected and roll the first chunk around in a loop to give a staccato effect that changes with each beat and bar of the track. Engaging Slip Mode transforms the same controls to command a Slip Loop effect, for even more creative expression. This is all in addition to loop functions inherited from the CDJ-2000NXS: Loop, Loop Cutter, Loop Edit and Active Loop. Other features inherited from the CDJ-2000NXS include a four-deck Beat Sync, to automatically sync the BPM of tracks to the master deck, and a dedicated Quantise button, for instant access to Quantised loops, cues and effects.
Music files can be analysed, managed (settings, create/edit, save logs) and prepared in advance with rekordbox installed on a computer. By using the iOS version of rekordbox (download from the App Store free of charge), preparation of music can be done anywhere with your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad devices. An Android version of rekordbox (download from Google Play free of charge) is available as well.
Music stored inside Wi-Fi/USB-connected iPhone/iPod touch/iPad devices can be transmitted to the CDJ-900NXS for DJ performances. The touch panel displays of these devices can be used for intuitive operations. In addition rekordbox can be used to send music to the CDJ-900NXS from inside a Wi-Fi-connected Mac. Also, when connected via USB, the iPhone/iPod touch/iPad devices can be charged during a performance. Android OS devices and Windows PCs also can send music via Wi-Fi/USB connections.
PRONEXUS provides disclosure and investor relations support services to companies, and thus its business operations are influenced by external factors such as revisions to the legal system and changes in the securities market. The impact of legal system revisions on our performance is sometimes positive but at other times negative. When securities market conditions are strong, a rise may occur in the number of orders for prospectuses, securities registration statements and sales materials due to brisk activity in corporate financings and IPOs, as well as the creation of investment trusts.
As the chart below illustrates, up until 2008 a series of positive factors boosted our business performance, including the requirement for securities reports to be submitted using the EDINET system and the disclosure of consolidated financial statements to the convocation notices for shareholders' meetings, a new requirement on the execution of the Companies Act and the Financial Instrument and Exchange Act as well as the introduction of XBRL. This supported our sales and steady profit growth. Following theLehman shock in autumn 2008, however, our sales and profits declined due to a drop in the number of listed companies reflecting a drastic decrease in IPOs, the digitization of stock certificates and clients' efforts to cut costs. From 2013 our performance recovered, with both sales and profits on the rise thanks to a recovery in the securities market and the introduction of the next-generation EDINET system.
PRONEXUS's main growth driver is support services related to changes in disclosure operations due to legal system revisions. In other words, our business is highly dependent upon developments in the legal system. To avoid the risk of dependence on this system and to create a business structure that is less affected by changes in the external environment, we will pioneer new markets and develop new business fields by leveraging our systems expertise and infrastructure.
