Hi,

I've been toying with this for weeks now, as it's the only feature I haven't been able to get working.  I've tried RSS feeds from several websites to no avail.  I created a screen template that contains 3 fields:  1 each of graphics, dynamic and ticker.  I assigned the template to a screen I'm testing.  From all the 2.0 documentation I was able to find it seems clear that the RSS feed must be subscribed to a dynamic field, so I created a feed, added RSS feed content to it, then subscribed that feed (by clicking on the dynamic field in the "Edit screen" view).  The graphics field is correctly displaying video content from a video feed I created, but the dynamic field never displays anything.  I had set the RSS feed content to show articles and change every 30 seconds (show frequently).  I force updated the feed content and there are 21 children that are displayed in the content list view from my user account.

I started with a 2.1.x version of the Concerto VM and have been keeping it up to date while testing.  During troubleshooting I verified that all the related rows in the database tables were removed each time I delete all content and start over, so I don't think there's a problem with orphaned or incomplete data in the db.  All my testing has been done using the Chrome browser.

For starters, have I been setting this up correctly?  If so, what next?  I seem to be the only person here having this issue, so I'd assume I was doing something wrong.

Thanks,
Robert

It appears the RSS feeds only work properly with text fields.  I was able to get these working with a text field (working from a screen template I created), when it had never worked with the dynamic type.  I also needed to force the update for the feed articles to start appearing after clearing the browser cache on the player.

Side note:  Clearing the browser cache is a MUST when either field content types have been changed in a template assigned to an active screen or a new template has been assigned to an active screen.
