Hi All,

I'm looking for a good way to display an ICS file through Concerto. I'm very comfortable with the back end of Concerto, so I'm  just looking for a suggestion of a tool that would take the ICS file and format it in a pretty fashion on a web page.Hopefully something that can show X number of events in a nice format for digital signage?

Thanks!

Recommend setting up a Google Calendar if possible, and pull events from there. Works great in my institution.

Hi Scott,

We have another cloud system (OrgSync) that will make the ICS files, I'm just looking for a way to display then in a format appropriate for digital signage. Unless there is some trick I don't know for making one of the google calendar widgets huge?

Thanks!

Justin,

I have never tried to display a Google Calendar widget through Concerto; rather, we pull events via RSS and display the text in an HTML Text field on the signage. We do use Google Calendar widgets on web pages though.

Does OrgSync provide RSS?

It does but the rss is ever event in the system in chronological order, including past events. I'm familiar with rss & concerto but without a way to limit the output to future events I don't think that will work.

That is too bad. Google Calendar does offer the capability to limit and order results by date; any chance that OrgSync will sync with Google?
