This concert will be of interest to both Russian and English speakers, as well as anyone who loves music and appreciates good company! Join us for the fun and good cause!
The suggested donation of $40 (or per your discretion) will be split between helping Ukrainian refugees in our community, and the front line defenders.
Wine and light refreshments will be served.
Huge thanks to the staff of the Romeo and Juliet theater school, and to our team of dedicated promoters, for helping with the performance space and organization!"

Почему концерт необычный? А потому что это будет постоянная игра "в пас" между двумя авторами - русскоязычным и англоязычным! Вот немного подробнее:

"The idea started when Michael and Alex both fell in love with the poetry of a Ukrainian-Israeli poet Vitaly Mamay. Michael wrote quite a few songs to Vitaly’s Russian-language lyrics, while Alex wrote songs to his own translated lyrics.
The duo will take you through their creative process, contrasting songwriting styles, and series of topics, ranging from extremely serious and moving, to thought-provoking, and to riotously hilarious.
The first part of the concert is “Matched!” – you will have a chance to compare how the same songs and poems sound in Russian and English. In the second part, we will move towards more general topics, and introduce other poets, and some of our original songs.
