to concept drift
Dear All,

I'm looking for a PhD student in machine learning for evolving data in life sciences. The focus is on computational methods for analysis of the global fossil record, ecological and climate data to better understand history of life, evolutionary processes and environmental change.

A successful candidate is expected to either have some experience in machine learning with evolving data (concept drift, data streams, change detection, transfer learning or alike), or in life/geo-sciences (bioinformatics, ecology, evolutionary biology, palaeontology or alike), and willingness to learn within both disciplines during the PhD.

The position is at Computer Science, University of Helsinki. Please send your CV and a short motivation letter to my name.s...@helsinki.fi if you are interested.

regards,
Indrė
