Mine worked perfect the first time I used it,just tried again and it blows the fuse when you turn it on Ill be sending back, will post comment after we see how we good the warranty is and how good after the sale service
I like this unit, I have always used the Champion one at my Sons business and I think this one does the same job. If can make two comments, one is the air fitting, it is not very accessible or easy to change. Second it does not seem to have the same spark power as the Champion. It may just be me, I can not compare them side to side.
I used 2 of these exact models and both of them are great for testing spark. Only problem is the fact that the cleaner doesnt work very effectively and compared to the SPARK PLUG CLEANER 2-WAY BLAST OR AIR P# 12-01684 it is very weak. Old shop bought one new and this new shop just got one and its not impressive to clean plugs just test.

in the old days before I could drive or had any money I used to spray them down with that spray you use to start old tractors, seemed to work good. I always buy a spare or two when I get a new bike and never seem to use them, usually hand them to the guy who bought my bike.
we had pedal bikes with us and explored quite a bit on those. that was back in '90 or so, long before I got back into motorsickles. We drove up from germany, spent a few days in england, then took the ferry to ireland for 2 weeks. Nice trip, i'd love to go back and see more of the UK, esp scotland and wales.
I have a plug sandblaster, you will need squished air on hand, but works wonderts. A plug can foul for no reason, we race KTM 2 strokes, and before each race weekend, I just blast it. We havent had a problem, just making sure it stays that way during a race. Also a propane torch, warm it up, get the center porcelian a little cherry read, let it cool, foulded plug will be fixed.
Like toyota_mdt_tech said, cleaning with a solvent that leaves no residue is important after blasting to remove any blast media. On aviation plugs we brush the threads with a soft brass wire brush to remove any blast media.
I am writing in mainly to add that if you are going to blast clean it is also important to clean with solvent before blasting to remove and oily residue so the blast media (sand, glass bead, or aluminum oxide grit) doesn't just stick to the sticky stuff.
Brake cleaner will remove the soft oily stuff and the blasting will remove harder carbon deposits. If the soft oily/greasy stuff is there when you start blasting the media will just stick and embed into it and render blasting ineffective loading the plug up with media and making a mess. Spray them down, let dry, blast the hard stuff, and spray em again.
I have spark plug cleaning equipment used in aircraft maintenance, but only use it on dirt bikes for turning old plugs into emergency, back up, or test plugs (nice when doing multiple tests for jetting). IMO a blasted plug in a two stroke doesn't last as long as a new one. My theory for why is that the surface of the porcelain insulator becomes rougher and more porous then a new one holding deposits better and becomes a conductor faster shorting/fouling out the plug being especially sensitive to wet oily deposits. I use to clean them with a Champion Spark Plug Cleaner/Tester back in the '70's when I raced MX. New plugs seemed to work better and last longer. Plugs in general didn't seem to last as long back then and blasted/cleaned ones were worse.
Spark plugs for aircraft piston engines are cleaned routinely by blasting. However, being four strokes, they run hotter and dryer and run on leaded gas so they form quite a bit of hard dry deposits which clean up nicely by blasting. Each plug is tested after cleaning in a pressure chamber (bomb tester) by generating a spark then viewing the spark to see if it dies under pressure. Each plug also cost between $25 and $70 and there are two per cylinder so 8 to 12 plugs per engine so blasting, even with a $2,000 machine, is cost effective.
