Well Gungor, but the possibilities seemed still a bit tantalizing for me ---

However, I think it will be difficult to get something new ready in time.

The new ideas that have cropped up since the last poster are
1.   Our further comments on Jeremy England's paper, and the entropy question.
2.   The consideration of Glass' result on growth of polymerization sites
      -- as a *cyclic phenomenon*.
3.   Experimentation with possible forms of spherical eigenfunciton that may correspond to
      Daisyworld models
4.   Critique of Scwhartz' (older) presentation on the "RNA world" .

The problem is that joining such ideas together to make a coherent thread
would take perhaps a week of dedicated effort, and I cannot easily see this
coming together in time -- because of other priorities (for me, that is) just now.

There will, of course, be another EPSC meeting coming up later this year --
so that might be a target...(?)

It is also possible that the suggested mid-June(?)  (COMU ?) workshop may help focus
enough combined thoughts to allow something to materialize -- but again, I am not
sure about the plans for that at present.

Ed
