Hi Haritina --
Good to hear from you.
(In fact, I was reminded of you just yesterday when
I passed a tours shop just near the harbour in Canakkale
advertising bus tours to Romania. I guess it's just a few hours
up the road from here ...:-) )
We had prepared a general outline of a possible poster for the Origins
meeting, developed a bit from the one we presented at last year's
EPSC at University College London.
But just now I am reading the (important) article by Alan Schwartz
(who reviewed our first paper in 2008) in the book of A. Brack --
Molecular Origins of Life. This is about the "RNA world" -- and its
implications.
The development we had in mind for the poster concerned applying
the restoration (with a meaning similar to "replication") operator to
such a quasi-uniform molecular model of the early biosphere.
I think the Nara meeting is in July (?) so if we were to prepare this
poster properly we would have to work a bit hard just now.
My main efforts at present are about the Kepler Mission data analysis --
so I am not sure if we can pull this together properly in time.
However, it is a nice suggestion from you and your friend -- so we should
try to see about anything useful we can do in response.
THanks again for your thought.
As ever,
Ed
