I was looking over some info on the Revelation Software site and I ran the CT demo.  I noticed that the version of CT shown had the Multipliers available to change the relative values of speed, form, and magic.  I think these values are used to create the odds line in CT.  These multipliers are referenced in the documentation as well but I could never find them in the version of the program I had.  Seeing as I don't find the default odds line settings particularly accurate, i'd like to play around with the multipliers to see if I can find a better mix.

Does anyone know how I can adjust the multipliers in the CT 7 version?  I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks,
Lawrence

Yeah , I was disappointed that the multipliers feature was not available in the latest version. That is why I purchased it. I like software that can be adjusted for handicapping different distance , surface etc. For this reason, I very seldom use the software.

In earlier versions, when multiplier adjustments were available, we found that they were somewhat confusing, and that results varied.
So we did further testing, and with knowledge of the actual programming, chose fixed values for the multipliers that let to excellent results.
Proof of the pudding, of course, is the large number of independent users reporting success with these fixed multiplier values in place.
As an aside, as a reminder, the mathematical basis of CompuTrak, "Engineering Analysis of Thoroughbred Racing" and its "Addendum" is available under "Documentation" at our website: www.revelationprofits.com  Only a few items in the actual implementation of the program are considered company proprietary. One such are the multiplier values discussed here. Another is the basis of the Form (Condition) of the horse values shown which is part of the output available to a user.
