I have been having some sucess, with computrack.
I've tried some differant variations on comutrack, and i find that
picking the top 3 speed, and the top three closers, these would be my
key contenders.I would set variations at distance range to 4.5,next
uncheck surf restrictions.After you get scratches,take ol-bt-rt-ft-fw
fr-top three choices in each
catagory. Each pick add a check to your six contenders. The top 3
choices are my picks. Then out of those I look for a value bet.
Example Speed 1-2-3 Closer 4-5-6
top 3 ol + + +
bt + + +
rt + +
ft + +
fw + + +
fr + +

Hey Kayo,

Quick question, now why did you change the distance range to 4.5, did
you notice how it changed the outcome?

Thanks
Ron

computrak is no magic box, but it does a great job of crunching numbers and giving a perspective of things that other players cant see. I've been using it for a couple of years and having been honing my skills. the simplest and most effective way to use it, for me anyway, is to follow the recommendations of the wizard and take the top two entries from those categories. I look for the top one, two or three that have top scores in more than one appropriate category, these are my contenders. I then take that list and look at the actual past performances which you are paying for anyway when you download to computrak. I look for things that would disqualify a contender. I'm not afraid to bet two entries if they go off at odds of 4-1 or higher. I'm just betting to win. like everyone else I have good days and bad days, but I can handicap a race with reasonable success in just a few minutes.
