+ Beauty of SanskritNo one questions the beauty of one's mother. They say beauty
lies in the eye of the beholder. And hence, everyone's mother
is always beautiful, just because of she being the mother, and
nothing else.
Now, Sanskrit being mother of all languages, there is no doubt
in its beauty. But not just because it is mother. It is the
reflection of Indian (aka Bhaarateeya) heritage and culture.
And Bhaarateeya culture being the oldest, richest, and one of
the most beautiful one, its reflection naturally becomes the
oldest, richest, and the most beautiful one.
I have recently started learning, aha not learning, but
playing & fondling with Sanskrit. I am amazed by its
scientific evolution, its open secrets, its flexibility, its
power - to name a few. Just wondering!!! Being an Bhaarateeya,
how didn't I get an opportunity to embrace it earlier. How can
one call oneself Bhaarateeya even without knowing it, when
till a few centuries ago Bhaarata and Sanskrit were
synonymous. Possibly because we have been calling ourself
Indian, not Bhaarateeya. :)
Anyways, it is worth devoting time for it, not just because of
emotions attached to it. But because of it being a scientific
marvel. Its impact is so profound that if I a child starts
picking it up from an early age, she / he is surely going to
have an intellect of its own class, apart from having the
sought-after human values, which we often call sanskaara. So,
if you are having kids, it is right time to take a step
forward. Or, if you are a kid yourself, kickstart yourself
into this journey of amaze. FYI, I have started mine, as I am
a kid myself - at least I feel so after starting this journey,
one and half years ago.
