I accidentally installed xp-home edition as a dual boot in a computer
using xp-home edition. And i just learned that my little brother has
deleted the partition with the second x p-home OS. When ever i boot
the option to choose the OS i want to use is still there. How can i
make it not give me that option (to choose which OS to load).

Right-click My computer>>properties>>>advanced>>>startup and recovery

either uncheck the first checkbox....or make the time to 0
seconds........OR edit the file....

timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /TUTag=69Q34C /
Kernel=TUKernel.exe

you can manually edit the boot.ini file, you'll find it hidden in the c:/ , you'll find a line with the default chosen option, and then you'll find a list with the available operating systems, just delete the line that has the windows that you want to remove and save it, but i got to advice you, if you delete the wrong line your computer might not start at all, so be careful

Goodness guys, make this as easy as you can...

START
RUN
type - MSCONFIG

Click the BOOT.INI tab
Click the button labeled - "Check All Boot Paths"

It will clear the bad ones for you
