ATI stuff

Funny thing that happend to my comptuer, my graphics driver, ati
xpress, has now gone out of date, so I keep getting "complaints"
that'r sayin to update to catalyst, which Wind. XP hasn't run a test
for yet (compat.) so I decline the update. next thing I know it
reboots and soon later my resolution is messed up and I lost my whole
plug n play driver software etc./ So I go to my ati file to reinstall
it and all of a sudden, as I start the procedure it brings up the
catalyst download center and atomatically downloads it, I didnt ask
for it and the funny thing is I was connected to my inter. server, so
it was like ati was just sitting there waiting for this day to
come...now I have an icon on my task pane, which really freaks my out
when i look at it for awhlies
