Freeware FPS troubles

This all started when I played Combat Arms. It's a good game but was
extremely slow to boot up. After a while I came across a game called
CrossFire. This game was bloody amazing with its speed and graphics.
The perfect game for a comp like mine. sadly though, now its a
glitchin up like crazy. So I decided to go out and find some low class
game until I get an xbox and a real fps. Out of like 10 or more games
I found I decided to go with a game called Soldier front. This game
was still in beta but was low on graphics and stuff like that. I
thought I would have no problem with a game like this. But then as I
was playing it started to glitch and freeze. It always closes after I
hear a windows error beep. I decided that my avast! antivirus was
blocking its transmission to the server and stuff so I turned it off
for the first time. My comp crashed after that. My regi. problem
started again (Disk boot failed,please insert system disk etc.) so now
my got to the point where my antivirus is on but my comp is still
turned off. idk wat should I do next...
NO MORE FREE FPS'S FOR ME!!! :( :)
