ERROR: seat 1 ran out of time

Hi guys. I'm well into working on my Pokerbot now but have run into a problem. I keep getting the message ERROR: seat 1 ran out of time, fairly randomly but usually at the turn or river round of a hand.

I've created a Java GUI to view game play with and am sleeping the thread for 1sec after each play action to make it more watchable. I intend to remove this sleep for running many hands. 

Can anybody tell me what the time limit is for the ACPC server to recieve an action from a player? Is it possible to change this time setting? I was hoping to give my GUI functionality for a human player to play so I really good do with a reasonable time limit.

Any advice would be appreciated.
