About MSP430

MSP430 LaunchPad is an easy-to-use microcontroller development tool for a beginner. MSP430 is an ultra low-power 16-bit microcontroller family from Texas Instruments. MSP430 microcontrollers find widespread use in applications such as energy meters, medical applications, and wireless sensor networks. This program will provide a self-paced and independent learning opportunity to the participants to absorb the concepts and programming MSP430. A design challenge will be presented to the participants at the end of the program.

Agenda

In this self-learning program, there will be no lectures or hand-holding. The participants will be given course materials and the necessary infrastructure, and will be expected to work on their own. A design challenge will be posed at the end of the program to test the learning of the participant. A certificate of participation will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the program. The workshop will be conducted on 4 Saturdays from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Registration

There is a nominal registration fee of Rs 500/- per student to cover the cost of the event.
